My schedule — the driver's view
My schedule (the driver's view)
What this is for — a driver's own trips for the day, on their phone, with three buttons to keep the office up to date.
Where to find it
Sign in and you land on it. Drivers have one menu item: My schedule.
Office people who sometimes drive (an Executive or dispatcher) can have their login linked to a driver record under Fleet → Drivers; My schedule then appears at the bottom of their normal menu, and shows their own trips.
Steps — looking at another day
Use ‹ and › beside the date, or click the date itself to pick a day from a calendar. Back to today returns you. You can only look as far ahead as the office allows — the page tells you how many days that is.
What the page shows
At the top: Hi,
Under that, your days off and any upcoming time off, if you have any.
Then the day pager: ‹, the date, ›, and a Today button when you have moved off today.
How far ahead you can see
The office sets this. It is usually today plus tomorrow.
- ‹ never goes back before today. Yesterday is not yours to change.
- › stops at the limit, and a note says "Schedule is visible 2 days ahead." If it's set to today only, the note reads "Today's schedule only."
Breaks & tasks today
If the office has scheduled a lunch, an off-duty split, or a job like an oil change, it appears in a card above your trips with the time and how long it takes.
Each trip card
Down the left: the pickup time (or Will call), an ASSIST tag if you are the second person on the trip, the appointment time if there is one, and the trip's status.
To the right:
- The trip number, the client's name, their mobility icon, a loop symbol for a round trip, and your van.
- The pickup address, any Stops, then the destination (with the department if there is one). On the ride home, the pickup shows the same suite or department as the ride out, so you have it for the return trip too. When the office booked a hospital, clinic or care home from their directory, the street address appears underneath the place's name — tap it to open your maps app with the address already in. If it says "No address on file — call dispatch", the office has not saved a street for that place yet; they can add it in seconds.
- The client's phone number.
- Caretaker riding along, if someone is travelling with them.
- Driver notes in a gold box — gate codes, which door, anything the office wants you to know. Notes saved on the client and notes for just this trip are shown together.
The three buttons
They only appear on today's trips, and only until the trip is finished.
- On my way — tap when you set off. The office sees the trip go blue.
- Arrived — tap when you reach the pickup.
- Dropped off — tap when the client is delivered. The trip is complete.
Each tap stamps the time, and the times show under the card afterwards: "On the way 8:04 AM · Arrived 8:19 AM · Dropped off 8:47 AM."
Tapped Dropped off by mistake, or on a trip that did not happen? Call dispatch. They can cancel it straight from their screen — they no longer have to undo the completion first — and the charge comes back off the books with it. Do not try to fix it from this page.
When the trip can't happen
Once you have tapped On my way, the trip card also shows Cancel trip…. Use it when the trip is not going to happen — nobody comes to the door, the client says they're not going, or the client calls you to cancel on your way. It is only for today's trips, and only on trips where you are the lead driver.
Before you have tapped Arrived
- Tap Cancel trip….
- You see: "You have not arrived at the destination. You are about to cancel the entire ride. Are you sure? Do you want to cancel?"
- Write the Reason for cancelling — for example "Client called me, not going today." You can't continue without it.
- Tap Yes, cancel the ride, or Go back to keep the trip.
The ride home, if there is one, is left for the office to decide.
After you have tapped Arrived
- Tap Cancel trip….
- Answer both questions: Did you call the patient? and Did you knock on the door? — Yes or No. A "No" doesn't stop you; it is just recorded. Tap Next.
- Choose What happened:
- Client not going — cancelled at the door
- No-show — nobody came
- Other — then describe what happened.
- If this is the trip there, and the ride home is still booked, you also see Also cancel the ride home (trip #… at …). It starts unticked — tick it only if you know the client won't need the ride home. Some clients cancel the morning ride and still need the afternoon one. Tap Next.
- Check the last screen: "Cancel trip #… for …? The office will be told." Tap Yes, cancel it, or Go back to change something.
What happens next
- The office is told straight away — a sound and an alert on their screen, saying you cancelled and why.
- The trip stays on your list for the rest of the day, greyed out, marked Cancelled by you with the time and "The office has been told."
- You never set a price or a fee. The office decides what the client is charged.
- If something goes wrong, the card says so in plain words — for example "Tap Arrived first". When in doubt, call dispatch.
Good to know
- The page updates by itself. A trip added or reassigned during the day appears without reloading.
- Today's cancelled trips stay on your list, greyed out. One you cancelled says Cancelled by you. One the office cancelled says Cancelled by the office with the time and "The office cancelled this trip — no need to go." If you are unsure, call dispatch rather than driving to the pickup.
- Round trips are two entries — the outbound and the ride home.
- On a two-person trip you see the trip whether you are the lead or the assist. The ASSIST tag tells you which.
- Cancel trip… appears only after On my way. Before that — or if the address is wrong, or anything else is unclear — call dispatch.
- Addresses on facility trips open your maps app when you tap them. Everything else — changing an address, a time or a price — is the office's job.
- Drivers cannot see other drivers' schedules, the client list, the board, or any money.
If you're locked out
Forgotten your password? There's no self-service reset — call or text the office and ask them to set you a temporary password. They'll give it to you over the phone or by text. Sign in with it, and you'll be asked to pick your own password before anything else loads — this works fine on your phone.
If something looks wrong
- "Almost there" — "Your login isn't connected to a driver profile yet." Your account exists but hasn't been joined to your driver record. Ask the office to link it on your driver record.
- "This account isn't active yet" — a new driver account starts switched off and waits for the office to approve it. An Executive switches it on in Users & roles.
- No trips showing for today — nothing is assigned to you yet, or the trips are still unassigned on the board. Call dispatch.
- The › arrow is greyed out — you have reached how far ahead the office lets drivers look.
- A place shows a name but no street — the office has not saved an address for it. Call dispatch for directions and ask them to add it; once they do it appears here straight away.
- A trip says Cancelled by the office — the office cancelled it; you don't need to go. Call dispatch if you have questions.
- I don't see Cancel trip… — tap On my way first. It only shows on today's trips, and not on trips where you are the ASSIST driver.
- I cancelled by mistake — call dispatch straight away. They can put the trip back.
- A trip you finished still says In progress — tap Dropped off. If it was already tapped, tell dispatch; they can correct it.
- The client's number isn't shown — no phone number is saved on their record.
